Is so beautiful outside my window. I have three giant old Maple trees with leaves turning yellow and red at the same time, with some green leaves still holding their color. The lady who owned the house before me planted the trees when she moved into this old craftsman home. When I first moved here a neighbor was moving out. He gave me his wide rake when he learned which house was mine. "You're going to need it," he said.
I know this isn't what happens, but the spectacular color of the Fall leaves makes me imagine the roots of the trees sucking up all the color of the Summer flowers left behind to display them overhead. Silly, I know.
This card was fun to paint with a jar of seasonal Apple Butter, my dad's favorite, in the forground and a display of colorful leaves in the background. I left it blank inside to allow for a personal greeting or to be used as an invitation to an Autumn Tea.
Fall Leaves Teacup card comes with a Hot Cinnamon Spice tea bag tucked in the rim of the tea pot and is available on my website at kimberlyshawgraphics.com
