Sending a hand written greeting is such personal touch, it speaks volumes of your thoughtfulness. Now, until the end of May, 10 of my Teacup Greeting cards have been reduced to Half Price to help make sending your greetings and warm wishes more enjoyable.
A Birthday Greetings with a yellow rose is a lovely choice for a friend. The design of this setting continues on the back revealing the plate resting behind the teacup and saucer. It comes with a flavorful Tropical White teabag tucked in the rim of the cup.
One of my personal favorites, a Thank You with a pretty pink rose teacup on loan from a friend and a small figurine vase holding young Spring blooms from my garden with a vintage doily tucked underneath. Delicious Raspberry Vanilla tea comes with it.
Using my collection of milk glass hobnail, a vase of Joseph's Coat roses from my trellis were models for this peach colored teacup setting. A refreshing Apricot Black tea is just as tasty hot or over ice.
I was surprised to receive this lovely Spode teacup from one of my sales reps on the East coast. I painted this Get Well Teacup card while on vacation and the rose is from the large garden in front of a cottage in the delta we return to each Summer.
This Especially For You pansy Teacup card has a very special story. The cup was on loan from a sweet friend along with others from her collection. I had intended to paint a gorgeous pink cup, but this pansy kept screaming out at me. Just as I completed it, a woman at a church called to ask if we had any pansy designs on our cards. We told her one had just left for the printer and we would have some in stock shortly and informed her it was blank inside with a sentiment on the outside that read, Especially For You." "Perfect!", she said, "That's exactly what we are looking for." She pre-ordered several for her event. In addition, the friend I borrowed the cup from told me after wards, that the pansy serves as a sweet reminder in her family of their grandmother who always grew pansies in her garden. This card was given to bless all the women in her family. It comes with a fragrant Earl Grey tea.
Mums are definitely an old time favorite in my mother's garden, and a teapot seemed the best choice to display their large detailed blooms. This Teacup Greeting card is intended to acknowledge those that bless our children through their natural nurturing gifts. The seed pack is illustrated with Baby's Breath, Sweet Peas, and Johny Jump Ups symbolizing the many children these incredible women like Sunday school teachers, Day Care providers and Dance instructors lovingly encourage.
There is nothing cheerier and bold than Sunflowers. The Summer before I painted this teapot we came over a levee road in the delta to view a field of Sunflowers all aglow in our direction. I've added a delectable Forest Berries tea to this card that read inside, "You make my world brighter"
With May's birth flower being the Lily of the Valley, a " Happy Birthday" message is held in place by a sprig of the delicate blooms with orchids peeking in from behind.
The most common phrase when someone sneezes is "Bless you" so I thought it would be fun to add the embroidered sentiment to a hankie. Apricot tea is tucked in the rim of the rose inspired teacup.
More roses for another Teacup Birthday card, this time a soft pink. The inside reads, "A gift of tea from me. Happy Birthday" and comes with Raspberry tea.
How's that for a line up of Springtime blooms you can send to cheer someone at 1/2 off?
Some of these pretty blooms are also on a set of Limited Edition pins which might tuck in nicely as a little extra gift for someone you know.
One of my very creative neighbors who I gave a set of these to on May Day converted the yellow rose in the upper right into a pendant necklace. I'll add it in a photo I'm sharing next time for
Martha's growing Tea Cup Tuesday event.
