May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours!
A Flickr pal posted several photos of her garden shed covered in snow. Someone commented it looked like a painting waiting to happen and Clair suggested it should be painted by someone (even though she is an artist herself) and said, "I'll wait to see it on flickr." So I took her challenge, choosing this photo with the fence color in the background.
I've never painted snow before, so this was a challenge. The majority of the painting was created using cobalt blue and burnt sienna. The green is a mix of what was left in my tray from the last painting.
Some of my greeting cards were revised, such as this "Tea Party" teacup greeting card. It is often used as Invitations to tea parties. I created the original design in 1996, using a Rapid- O-Graph pen to outline the watercolor. The new edition does not have the black pen outline, and the lattice artwork behind continues on the back of the card.
